Bob Karina
Founder and Chairman
Bob Karina is the Founder and Chairman of Faida Investment Bank. He is the immediate former Vice Chairman of the Nairobi Securities Exchange and served as Chairman of the Rwanda Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2025, the market where Faida Securities Rwanda was the first licensed broker.
His governance record spans the institutions that make East Africa’s capital markets work: a past directorship at the Central Depository and Settlement Corporation, a trusteeship of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a founding membership and fellowship of ICIFA Kenya. The firm he founded in 1994 on the belief that ordinary Kenyans would invest if someone made it possible now serves more than 140,000 clients across two countries.
